Currently the Tuggerah store is the only Chipmunks venue offering this service.
A full range of activities is provided including pick up from school, homework supervision, afternoon tea and playtime. The programme is CCB (Child Care Benefit) approved meaning the government pays some of the fees. After school care is only available for children between 5-11 years and we must stick to this age limit because we are not a licensed childcare facility for under 5’s.
The Chipmunks playground will be the central point in our environment where play and recreational activities of a stimulating, safe and secure nature will be available together with the employment of an experienced, talented team who will monitor homework, learning and recreation with the needs and progress of the individual child being the central focus.
Sample After School Care Daily Programme:
3.00 p.m. - 3.30 p.m. - Children arrive from schools
3.30 p.m. - 3.45 p.m. - Free Choice within Chipmunks
3.45 p.m. - 4.05 p.m. - Afternoon Tea
4.05 p.m. - 6.00 p.m. - Supervised homework, Arts and Crafts, Activities
Session 3.00 p.m. - 6.00 p.m.
